Industry Specific Software Package – Purchase Of A Lims System. The Finnish Environment Agency (Syke) Is Bidding For A New Lims System For Its Laboratories, Which Replaces The Current Solution Introduced In 1999 And Expands Data Management To Cover A Wider Range Of Laboratory Operations. The Goal Is To Implement A Unified, User-Friendly And Long-Lasting System That Supports Workflows From Sampling Planning To Analysis, Reporting And Data Transfer To Official Registers. The System Must Serve About A Hundred Users In Three Offices And Cover The Wide-Ranging Operation Of The Laboratory. The Object Of The Acquisition Is Ready-Made Software That Will Be Modified To Meet The Needs Of Sykes Laboratory Operations. The Acquisition Aims To Improve The Efficiency, Quality Management And Predictability Of The Laboratorys Operations, As Well As To Ensure Complete Traceability And Centralized Management Of The Analysis Results. The System Must Offer Functional Reporting And Analysis Possibilities, Support Decision-Making, And Meet Data Security And Data Protection Requirements. In Addition, It Must Be Adaptable As Laboratory Operations Develop And Offer Reliable Operation Long Into The Future. The Procurement Includes Delivery Of The System, Modification To Meet Sykes Needs, Implementation, Possible Transfer Of Data From The Current System, And User Training. In Addition, The Acquired Entity Includes Continuous Support, Maintenance And Development Services. The System Works In Sykes Internal Environment, And Syke Itself Is Responsible For Its Technical Infrastructure. A Lims System Is Expected To Have A Life Cycle Of At Least 10 Years, During Which The System Is Updated, Maintained And User Support Is Available. In The Tender, The Most Economically Advantageous Solution Is Sought. A Maximum Of 90 Points Are Given For Price And 10 Points For Quality.
