Tenders are invited for Ers-Eo Space Resilience Nodes User Needs Studies Expro+ As part of the European Resilience from Space - Earth Observation (ERS-EO) Programme Element 2, this tender covers the studies on User Needs for Space Resilience Nodes (SRN), up to 300k each with duration of approximately 5 months per Study. These Studies area first step towards establishing new SRNs within Participating States, leveraging on ESAs emerging SRN Reference Framework. SpaceResilience Nodes are defined as an unclassified user segment comprising digital, physical, and human components, which together enable rapid access to a suite of space-enabled solutions for Public Protection and Disaster Relief. The Studies aim to understand the needs of Public Protection and Disaster Relief stakeholders in Participating States, so as to tailor the SRN Reference Framework to the national context, and pave the way towards SRN deployment therein. The Agency intends to select up to six (6) distinct studies, to be implemented through separate contracts placed by ESA, each covering a different country/region. The following list of countries/region to be covered by the studies is indicative, the final list will be confirmed in the published tender: 1. Arctic region SRN; 2. Austrian SRN; 3. Belgian SRN; 4. Danish SRN5; 5. Hungarian SRN; 6. Luxembourgish SRN (which will include a focus on the international humanitarian sector). The key tasks and outputs of the studies are expected to include:(1) Identify and understand key Node stakeholders (Mapping of Stakeholders, coordination structures, crisis plans, relevant policies and legal frameworks; identify which stakeholders are to be Node users)(2) Facilitate understanding by key Node stakeholders of SRN concept and Reference Framework, and how it can support them (engagement and outreach; mapping of stakeholders expectations from and potential roles in the SRN)(3) Define Node high-level mission requirements and architecture based on ESA SRN Reference Framework (identifying priority use cases; analyse baseline capabilities; identify legacy systems and national initiatives or assets to be integrated with/leveraged by the Node; assess pooling and sharing needs; identify security and resilience requirements)(4) Recommend an organisational model and Node deployment timeline(5) Provide input to SRN User Needs Harmonisation Study Read less Tender Link : https://esastar-publication-ext.sso.esa.int/ESATenderActions/filter/open
