The Contracting Authority Is Procuring One (1) Self-Propelled Modular Trailer (Spmt) For Safe And Efficient Transport And Transshipment Of Power Transformers At Port Transshipment Facilities And Intermediate Storage, As Well As Roll-On/Roll-Off Operations Via Ramps To/From Vessels (Ro-Ro Operations With M/S Elektron). Minimum Requirements Include: • Payload Capacity ≥ 260 Tonnes • Axle Load ≤ 27 Tonnes Per Axle Line • Platform Height ≤ 950 Mm (Lowered Position) • Self-Propelled With Integrated Power Pack Unit (Ppu) And Wireless Remote Control • Suitable For Operation In Maritime/Coastal Environments With Corrosion Protection The Purpose Is To Increase Statnett’S Capacity And Reduce Dependence On External Rental For Heavy Lifting/Moving Of Transformers.
