Years Ago, The Civil Engineering Department Of The Canton Of Bern Realized Through Extensive Tests And The Operation Of Several Pilot Systems That Active And Intelligently Controlled Led Lights Can Save Considerable Energy And Costs. There Are Now Over 18,000 Lights With Modern Led Lights And Light-On-Demand Technology In Operation In The Canton. These Have Proven Themselves Very Well In Practice. Thanks To The Active, Sensor- And Radio-Controlled Control, The New Led Lights Can Be Proven To Save Up To 90% Of Energy And Operating Costs Compared To Older Street Lights.
