The City Of Raahe Is Requesting A Bid For The Overall Contract For The Construction Of A Strainer Well. The City Of Raahe Has A Permit According To The Water Act (Issued On January 28, 2021) For Pumping Groundwater In The Lappante Area. The Purpose Of Groundwater Pumping Is To Lower The Groundwater Level In Nearby Residential Areas In Order To Prevent Problems Caused By Rising Groundwater Levels For Buildings In The Area. The Pumping Amount According To The Permit Is A Maximum Of 1200 M3/Day. Groundwater Has Been Pumped Since 2010 At Approximately 900 M3/Day. The Problem With Pumping Is Iron-Rich Groundwater, So The Yield Of The Wells Decreases As The Iron Clogs The Sieves. Flushing The Wells Provides Only Short-Term Help For Clogging. The Capacity Of The Current Tube Well Is No Longer 900 M3/Day, So The Pump No Longer Runs Continuously, Even If The Groundwater Level Is High. The Implementation Of The New Pumping Station Must Take Into Account The Iron-Rich Groundwater In The Area, Which Causes The Current Problems In The Form Of Clogging Of The Well. For This Reason, Conditions Have Been Set For The Structure Of The Well, Which Are Estimated To Help The Operation Of The Well And Enable Pressure Washing Of The Well. The New Well Must Be Built Close To The Existing Well, In Which Case The Existing Electrical Cabinet And Settling Basins, Which Are Located On The Other Side Of Lappastenoja, Can Be Utilized. The Work Must Be Carried Out During 2026. There Is A Survey Of The Area, Which Is Attached To The Request For Tender. The City Of Raahe Will Determine That There Are No Cables Or Pipes, And Acquires Research And Access Permits And Hands Over Power From The Pumping Station For Pumping And Heating. The Area Is A Treeless Park Area With A Road To The Current Well. The Offer Is Requested For A Total Package, Which Includes The Construction Of The Strainer Part, Well Piping, Pump, Control, Electrical Work And Flushing And Yield Pumping. In Addition, The Price Is Asked For The Device Farm (To Be Purchased As An Option). Questions Related To The Request For Quotation Must Be Sent By 12:00 On June 10, 2026.
