Thedistrictinvitesproposalsfrom Qualified Fuel Treatment And Forest Operations Contractors (“Proponents”) To Undertake Operational Fuel Treatment Works In Parkland And Interface Forest Areas Within Thedistrict. Work Involves Hazard Tree Removal, Thinning From Below, Surface Fuel Reduction, Pruning And Debris Removal. This Project Is A Provincially Approved Operational Wildfire Risk‑Reduction Initiative, Jointly Funded By The Union Of Bc Municipalities (Ubcm) Community Resiliency Investment (Cri) Program And The District Of North Vancouver (Dnv). The Resultingcontractwill Be For The Supply Of All Labour, Materials, Equipment, Supervision, And Incidentals Necessary To Complete Theworksdescribed In Thisrfpin Accordance With Approved Prescriptions, Drawings, And Applicable Regulations. The Net Funded Project Area Is 32.8 Hectares (Ha) With A Total Treatment Area Divided Into Two (2) Treatment Units In The Following Areas: 1. Seymour River 3.8 Ha 2. Indian River Dr 29.0 Ha
