Electrical Installation Work – Building Automation For The House Of Education - Ihk Ulm. 1 General The Ihk Ulm Is Planning To Build A New 5-Story Education Center With A Full Basement. The Existing Building Will Be Completely Demolished. The Newly Planned Building Has Floor Plan Dimensions Of Approximately 24 M X 29 M. The Upper Edge Of The Ground Floor Is 478.1 M Above Sea Level. The Longitudinal Facades To The East And West Are Glass Facades, Which Are Designed As Double Facade Constructions. The East Facade Is Oriented Towards The Courtyard And Is Inclined In The Floor Plan By Approx. 11° To The Longitudinal Orientation Of The Building. The West Facade Is Oriented Towards The Street And Runs Parallel To The Longitudinal Orientation Of The Building. The Front Wall To The South Is A Closed Fire Wall To An Adjacent Building. The Front Wall To The North Is Mostly Closed And Has A Slight Bend Of 11° In The Middle In The Floor Plan. 2 Supporting Structure The Basement, The Fire Wall And The Emergency Escape Staircase Are Planned Using Conventional Solid Construction. The Rest Of The Supporting Structure Is Designed As A Pure, Predominantly Visible Wooden Structure. A Layer Of Glued Laminated Timber (Bsh) Beams With Cross-Laminated Timber (Clt) Planking On The Top Is Used As The Ceilings. The Beams Remain Visible From The Bottom And Sides. The Gap Is Acoustically Activated Using Heradesign Panels. The Primary Supporting Axes Consist Of Squat Bsh Supports And Bsh Beams That Remain Visible. In The Area Of The Sanitary And Elevator Core, Load-Bearing Clt Walls Are Used, Which Remain Visible From One Side. The Northern Outer Wall Is Designed As A Glulam Frame Structure With Stiffening Infills Using A Timber Frame Construction. The Double Facades Consist Of An Impact Glass Pane, An External Load-Bearing Wooden Structure And Thermal Glazing Oriented Towards The Room. The Horizontal Stiffening Of The Building Is Achieved By Designing All Ceiling Panels As Stiffening Ceiling Discs. The Building Is Vertically Stiffened Through The Interaction Of The Stiffening Reinforced Concrete Wall Panels With The Stiffening Infills Of The Northern Front Wall And The Diagonals Of The Double Facades. 3 Project Key Figures Gross Floor Area (Gfa): Approx. 3,329 M² Gross Volume (Bri): Approx. 13,085 M³ Floors: 6 Including Basement Total Dimensions L X W X H: Approx. 28.36 X 23.36 X 22.50 M
