Storage And Warehousing Services – Recycling Services For Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) And Medical Devices For The Ulm Storage Location. The Majority Of The Items Are Protective Masks And, To A Small Extent, Other Medical Material (Protective Goggles And Syringes). The Items To Be Recycled Are Stored On Pallets In A Warehouse Managed By A Third Party (Warehouse Service Provider) In 89081 Ulm. The Contractor Will Collect The Items, In The Form Of Entire Pallets, From The Storage Location On An Agreed Date With A 40T Tractor-Trailer And Will Then Properly Recycle Them In The Form Of Energy Recovery Or Alternative Recovery In Accordance With The Legal Provisions, In Particular The Law To Promote The Circular Economy And Ensure The Environmentally Friendly Management Of Waste. A Pallet With Protective Masks Or Other Medical Material Typically Contains Items Of One Product Type. These Items Are Packed In Outer Boxes And Sometimes In Other Boxes Or Plastic Packaging. The Scope Of Delivery Is Packed In Outer Boxes And Partly In Other Boxes Or Plastic Packaging. The Client Does Not Have Any Concrete Figures As To What Proportion Of The Items Are Packaged And How. The Objects And Packaging Must Be Properly Recycled By The Contractor In Accordance With Legal Requirements. Due To Customs Regulations, An Estimated Part Of Up To 75% Of The Items Must Be Recycled For Energy Without Leaving Any Economically Usable Residue (Customs-Compliant Recycling). The Other Part Of The Items Can Be Recycled By The Contractor In The Form Of An Alternative Recycling Method In Accordance With The Legal Provisions, In Particular The Law To Promote The Circular Economy And Ensure The Environmentally Friendly Management Of Waste. The Specific Form Of Utilization (Energy Or Alternative Utilization) Is Specified By The Client For Each Utilization Order. The Client Does Not Guarantee Any Specific Quantities Per Form Of Utilization. The Client Guarantees The Contractor A Minimum Order Quantity Of “A” (Minimum Order Quantity According To The Following Table). The Maximum Order Quantity Corresponds To The Utilization Of “B” (Maximum Order Quantity According To The Following Table). A - Minimum Order Quantity: 392 Tonnes B - Maximum Order Quantity: 2,174 Tonnes Further Details Can Be Found In The Tender Documents.
