Work Detail
Medical Information Systems – Software Solution For Archiving And Exchanging Data From Imaging Procedures (Pacs). The Bbt Group Currently Operates Different Hospital Information Systems Kis, Radiology Information Systems Ris And Pacs Solutions At Several Locations, Each Of Which Is Installed And Operated Locally In The Individual Hospitals. This Historically Grown System Landscape Is Characterized By Location-Specific Isolated Solutions, Different Technical Operating Models And Increased Effort For Administration, Interface Operation And Further Development. The Subject Of This Award Procedure Is The Introduction Of A Central Pacs That Can Be Used Across Locations As A Future Uniform Platform For Storing, Managing And Providing Medical Image Data. The Central Pacs Should Be Designed In Such A Way That All Bbt Group Facilities Can Access It And A Consolidated, Common Image Data Base Is Created. In This Context, It Is Planned To Gradually Replace The Pacs Systems That Were Previously Operated Locally At The Individual Locations And Completely Decommission Them. The Central Pacs Must Be Designed To Be Highly Available And Should Be Installed And Operated On Premise In The Bbt Groups Data Centers. It Must Meet The Requirements For Availability, Stability And Operational Reliability Of A System Used Across Locations In A Medical Environment And Ensure Uninterrupted Operation Even In Routine Clinical Operations. In Addition, The Manufacturers Cloud Strategy Must Be Presented, Including The Planned Further Development Of The Pacs Towards Cloud And Hybrid Operating Models. The Existing Kis And Ris Systems Of The Individual Houses Are Not Part Of This Award Procedure And Should Initially Remain Unchanged In Their Respective Characteristics And Structure. The Central Pacs Must Therefore Be Able To Function Reliably In A Heterogeneous System Landscape And Support The Cross-Location Connection Of Several Different Ris Systems. The Affiliated Institutions Of The Bbt Group Should Each Be Represented As Separate Clients In The Future Central Pacs. It Must Be Ensured That Legally Secure, Data Protection-Compliant And Traceable Use Is Possible Both Within Individual Houses And Across Houses. For This Purpose, The Central Pacs Must Provide A Multi-Client Capable Structure That, On The One Hand, Ensures The Organizational And Data Protection Separation Of The Locations And, On The Other Hand, Enables Controlled, Logged And Rule-Based Cross-Location Collaboration Where Technically And Organizationally Necessary. In Addition To The Hospital Locations, The Bbt Groups Mvz Medical Care Centers Must Also Be Integrated Into The Central Pacs. In Addition, The System Is Intended To Support The Provision Of Medical Images And Associated Results To Authorized Users Via A Web-Based Portal.
