Uz Ghent Wants To Automate The Distribution Of Medicines From The Pharmacy. Within The Hospital, A Distribution Model Was Chosen With The Center Of Gravity Being Centrally Located In The Pharmacy. For Hospitalization Services, Medicines Will Be Supplied From The Pharmacy Maximum In The Patients Name Per 24 Hours (Lower Or Higher Frequency If Necessary). Classical Hospitalization Services Will Only Have A Limited Service Stock, Mainly For The Start Of Therapies. Extensive Decentralized Supplies Are Provided For Critical Services (E.G. Emergency, Intensive Care, Operating Theater), Outpatient Clinics, Day Clinics. The Entire Process From Prescription To Administration Will Be Designed As Efficiently And Safely As Possible. Manual Actions Will Be Reduced By Using Devices For Automated Reconditioning To Traceable Unit Doses, In Combination With Devices That Can Also Produce Patient Therapies Fully Automatically From A Unit Dose Warehouse. Unit Doses That Have Not Been Administered Must Also Be Able To Be Quickly Returned To The Pharmacy Stock Using These Devices, With The Associated Administrative Processing. On The One Hand, This Ambition Aims To Increase The Efficiency Of Picking And Consolidation In Pharmacies And To Limit Picking Errors By Making Maximum Efforts To Automate These Processes. In Addition, This Assignment Aims To Relieve Nurses As Much As Possible From Picking Activities And Preparing Medication. At The Same Time, Patient Safety Is Increased By A Further Evolution Towards Closed-Loop Medication Management. In Concrete Terms, We Aim To Meet The Essential Preconditions For A Future Implementation Of Bedside Scanning Through The Production Of Traceable Unit Doses And The Automation Of Therapy Distribution. This Order Contains A Maintenance Contract And Also A Framework Agreement For The Required Disposables. Uz Gent Is Looking For A Supplier To Develop And Shape This Concept Of Automation Together. Important Values ​​Are Flexibility, Safety, Traceability, Sustainability, Redundancy And Efficiency. Furthermore, Ghent University Hospital Has Started A New Construction Project (Project U) In Which The Pharmacy May Be Provided With A New Logistics Platform. All Delivered Or Installed Equipment Must Be Easy To Move To The New Location.
