The Local Community Of Mayschoß Operates The Local Sports Facility, Which Was Closed On The Night Of The Flood On July 14Th. Was Completely Destroyed On July 15, 2021. Before The Flood Event, The Facility Included A Grass Playing Area, An Adjacent Football Field, A Floodlight System, A Water Fountain And An Athletes Home With Ancillary Facilities (Outdoor Facilities And Parking Area). As Part Of The Reconstruction, The Local Community Of Mayschoß Intends To Rebuild The Sports Facility As A Flood-Adapted Venue While Retaining The Previous Functions On The Area. The Site Lies Entirely In The Flood Plain Of The Ahr; When Planning, Water Law And Flood-Related Requirements In Particular Must Be Taken Into Account.
