Measure Number: B14h C150910501 Description Of The Measure: Energy-Efficient Facade Renovation (=Window Replacement) Building W Award Number: 26-014417 The Munich University Of Applied Sciences Is Planning An Energy-Efficient Facade Renovation Of An Existing Building (W Building) From 1954 On The Main Campus Of The Munich University Of Applied Sciences. The Energetic Renovation Of The Facade Will Most Likely Be Supported By Funds From The European Union (Erdf Funding, European Regional Development Fund). This Is A Special Building In Accordance With Article 2 Paragraph 4 Baybo. The Building Is A Listed Building. The Windows In The W Building Are Dilapidated And Need To Be Replaced. The Energetic Renovation Of The Windows Was Examined In Advance As Part Of A Feasibility Study (Building Construction). An Extensive Inventory Was Drawn Up, Coordination Was Carried Out With The State Office For Monument Preservation, And Building Physics Calculations Were Carried Out (Heat Bridge Calculation, Hygrothermal Simulation). For The Energy-Efficient Renovation Of The Windows, Internal Insulation Must Be Installed On The External Walls In The Basement. Heating, Sanitary And Ventilation Components, Risers And Drinking Water Pipes Are In The Way Of The Intended Internal Insulation. In Order To Enable Internal Insulation, These Must Be Dismantled, Moved Or Reinstalled. The Existing Radiators, Mostly Steel Tubular Radiators, Are To Be Replaced As Part Of This Process And Due To Rust Spots. This Was Examined In Advance As Part Of A Feasibility Study (Tga-M). The Planning Task Is To Plan The Necessary Dismantling And New Installation For The Required Areas. The Existing Heating Center Remains Unaffected Unless Necessary. Location And Condition Of The Building Plot The W Building Is Located On The Main Site Of The Munich University Of Applied Sciences In Lothstr. 21 On Parcel No. 472/304 In The Schwabing District. The Owner Is The Free State Of Bavaria. The Building Is A Three-Story (Basement, Ground Floor, Upper Floor), Elongated Gable Roof Building With A Length Of Approx. 81 M And A Width Of Approx. 15 M. In Front Of It There Is A Ground Floor Flat Roof Building As An Annex Building (Basement, Ground Floor) With A Length Of 13 M And A Width Of 14 M. Both Buildings Are Visually Uniform In Light Brown Exposed Brick. The Gable Roof Construction Is Made Of A Reinforced Concrete Structure With A Solid Component. The Construction Can Be Seen On The Facade. The Eastern Part Of The Building With The Large, Glazed Entrance Is Dominated By A Perforated Brick Facade. Pre-Cut Concrete Elements Frame The Light Blue Window Frames With Double-Wing Windows And Underlights As Well As Individual Parapet Grilles. The Western, Longer Part Of The Building With Its Slightly Protruding Head Section And Excavated Basement Is Given Rhythm By The Visible Steel Construction. The Three-Wing Windows With Underlights Here Need To Be Replaced; They Each Take Up The Width Of The Column Grid. The Gable Ends Of The Building
