Procurement Description - Luirojoki Fishery Restoration Project 2026 Purpose Of The Procurement The Purpose Of The Procurement Is The Implementation Of The Luirojoki Fishery Restoration Project In Five Locations In The Area Of Sodankylä And Savukoski Municipalities. The Restoration Measures Are Aimed At The River Section Below The Luirojoki Loka Dam. Targets To Be Implemented:- Neitikäiskoski (2026)- Uuttkoski (2026)- Upper Kotakoski (2027)- Lower Kotakoski (2027) - Hietakoski (2027) The Aim Of The Project Is To Improve The Fishing Condition Of The River Area And Especially The Living Conditions Of Fish Species Valuable For Recreational Fishing And Breeding Opportunities. Procurement Background And Goals: The Project Is Based On The Development Plan For The Luirojoki Fishery Farm, Which Has Identified The Ecological Restoration Needs Of The River Bed And Defined Measures To Improve The Fishery Farm. The Restoration Measures Are Based On The Flow Conditions In Accordance With The Permit Conditions Of The Loka Dam, And Their Goal Is To:- Improve Fish Reproduction And Habitats- Increase The Diversity Of Rapids And Floodplain Areas- Improve The Recreational Use Of The River Area- Promote The Water Ecological Space Funding And Partners In The Project, Sodankylä Municipality (Customer), Savukoski Municipality, Kemijoki Oy And Metsähallitus Are The Partners In The Project. The Project Will Start If Laplands Vitality Center Grants A Grant For The Implementation Of Water And Fisheries Measures. The Procurement Is Therefore Conditional. The Project Is A Part Of The Regional Body Of Rehabilitating Waterways And Developing Fisheries. Content Of The Contract: The Contract Will Be Implemented As A Total Contract, Where The Contractor Acts As The Main Contractor And Main Contractor. The Contract Includes All Rehabilitation Measures In Accordance With The Plan Material, As Well As The Arrangements And Documentation Related To The Implementation Of The Work. Key Work Steps: And Narrowing Of Floodplain Areas And Improvement Of Flow Conditions- Naturalization Of Rapids And Floodplain Thresholds- Restoration Of Gravel Bottom Areas And Implementation Of Spawning Gravels- Design Of Flow Breaks And Flow Paths- Implementation Of Possible Artificial Islands And Stone Structures- Work-Time Access And Protection Arrangements- Work-Time Water Works And Flow Control- Site Safety, Environmental And Documentation Tasks- Finishing The Contract And Handover Documents Scope And Implementation Of The Project The Renovation Sites Are Located On River Sections With Varying Terrain, Where The Work Mainly Takes Place In The Water Area And In The Coastal Zones. Working Conditions, Such As: Flowing Waters And Changing Flow Conditions Terrain Bearing Capacity And Transport Connections Environmental And Protection Aspects Implementation Principles The Contractor Is Responsible For:- The Necessary Equipment, Materials And Their Delivery To The Site- Supplementing The Work Planning (Work And Quality Plans)- Site Arrangements- Safety And Environmental Protection- Quality Assurance And Documentation (Buildie) Timetable The Project Implementation Time Is 27/07/2026–30/11/2027. The Contract Must Be Completed In Its Entirety Within The Framework Of This Schedule.
