The Province Of Utrecht Public Transport Is Responsible For Tram Transport In The Utrecht Region. Tram Management And Maintenance Company (Bro) Manages The Tram System On Behalf Of The Province. The Installations Of The Achterveld, Nieuwegein-Zuid And Zenderpark Traction Stations (Sunij Line) Have Reached The End Of Their Technical Lifespan. The Project Has The Following Objectives: • Replacement Of The Installations And Spatial Reorganization Of The Three Traction Stations (Separation Of High And Low Voltage Areas). • Making The Traction Energy Supply On The Sunij Line More Sustainable, Taking Into Account Growth In Passenger Numbers. • A More Robust And Reliable Energy Supply With A Technical Lifespan Of At Least 40 Years. • Standardization Of Installations To Increase The Efficiency Of Management And Maintenance. This Concerns Three Traction Stations.
