Descriptionthe Purpose Is To Provide An Up-To-Date And Decision-Relevant Knowledge Base On Nature Types And Natural Diversity, Which Can Be Used Directly In The Work With The Area Part Of The Municipal Plan In The Municipalities. Parallel Framework Agreements Will Be Entered Into With Up To Three Suppliers For The Implementation Of Nature Type Mapping According To The Norwegian Environment Agencys Instructions. The Mapping Must Be Carried Out In Connection With The Revision Of The Area Part Of The Municipal Plan, And Is Limited To Areas That Are Considered Set Aside For Development Purposes In The Plan. The Mapping Is Included As Part Of The Municipalities Work To Ensure That Spatial Planning Takes Place On A Sufficient Basis Of Knowledge, Cf. The Natural Diversity Act. The Mapping Must Be Targeted And Limited To Areas Where A Need For Updated Knowledge Has Been Identified In Connection With The Planning Work. This Means That The Assignment Is Not A Complete Mapping Of The Municipalities Areas, But A Prioritized And Plan-Relevant Effort Aimed At Relevant Development And Change Areas.
