Execution Period: Expected August 2026 - October 2026 As Part Of The Design Planning, Various Variants Were Examined In Order To Determine The Requirements For Dimensions, Surfaces, Acoustics And Fire Protection. In Order To Comply With The Acoustic Requirements, Product-Specific Proof Of The Degree Of Sound Absorption Was Required, As The Acoustic Properties Depend Significantly On The Respective Structure. Therefore, Simulation Was Used To Check Whether The Respective Products Were Suitable. In Addition, The Acoustic Cladding Had To Meet Fire Protection Requirements And, For Design Reasons, Could Not Exceed A Certain Overall Depth. European Oak Was Selected As A Veneer For All Wooden Surfaces In The Hall And Foyer During The Sampling Process Together With The Dlr. Accordingly, The Wall Covering Should Also Receive This Veneer; At The Same Time, The Proportion Of Joints Should Be As Small As Possible While Complying With The Acoustic Requirements. These Requirements Are Met In The Best Possible Way By The Wall Paneling “Topakustik – Classic 19/2 M 16/21.33/10” From Topakustik Ag. This Product Was Therefore Already Specified As Part Of The Implementation Planning, As The Subsequent Detailed Planning Had To Be Coordinated With The Selected System. During The Planning Process, It Was Also Checked Whether Technically Comparable Alternative Products Were Available. It Became Apparent That Other Systems Would Not Fully Meet The Project-Specific Requirements - Particularly With Regard To Construction Depth, Fire Protection, Surface Effect And Integration Into The Coordinated Overall Architectural Concept - Or Would Require Significant Adjustments To The Existing Planning. A Switch To A Different Product Would Also Require Renewed Technical Tests, Including Simulations, As Well As A Revision Of The Planning That Has Already Been Completed, And Would Therefore Cause Additional Effort, Additional Costs And Delays In Further Planning, Awarding And Execution Processes. The Product “Topakustik – Classic 19/2 M 16/21.33/10” From Topakustik Ag Is Therefore The Only Currently Known Solution With Which The Technical, Designer
