The Ekt, As An Electronic And Physical Infrastructure Of National Scope, Has As Its Institutional Role The Collection, Accumulation, Organization, Documentation, Dissemination Inside And Outside The Country And The Digital Preservation Of Scientific, Technological And Cultural Information, Content And Data, Produced In Greece. Additionally, The Ecb Is The Competent Body And National Authority Of The Hellenic Statistical System For The Collection, Aggregation, Processing And Production Of All Research, Development, Innovation (R&D) Related Data And Indicators For The Country, I.E. The Official European Statistics Sent To Eurostat And Other International Bodies (Oecd) As Well As National Statistics. Among Other Things, The Statistics Concern State And Business E&A Expenditures, Specialized Human Resources, Innovative Performance, Scientific Publications Of Greek Institutions In International Journals, Participation In National And European R&D Projects, Etc. The Ekt Financial And Administrative Services Department, In The Context Of The Implementation Of Its Purpose, Carries Out A Series Of Actions That Include Accounting, Financial Management, Human Resources And Administrative Support Of The Institution. More Specifically, The Department In Question Is Called Upon To Cover Needs Related To The Financial Management Of An Increased Number Of Financed Projects That Are Implemented Simultaneously, Several Of Which With A Seven-Figure Budget And An Implementation Schedule Over The Next Two (2) Years, The Turnover Of The Ecb, The Executed Budgets And The More Specific Legislative Framework That Governs The Ecb (Tax, Fiscal, Etc.) As A Body Of The General Government, Etc. More Specifically, It Is Required To Cover A Number Of Actions, Such As The Following: Monitoring Of Absorption And Financial Management Of The Projects Implemented By The Ekt, And The Production Of The Required Reports And Presentations For The Administration In Collaboration With The Scientific Managers Of The Projects. Contribute To The Drawing Up Of Project Budgets. Harmonization With The New Legislation N.1138/2020 (And All Its Relevant Amendments) On Electronic Books Through The Digital Platform Mydata (My Digital Accounting And Tax Application), The Application Of Which Is Mandatory For Businesses And Professionals. This Results In An Increase In The Daily Tasks And Obligations Of The Accounting Department. Covering The Growing Payroll Needs, Due To Both The Continuous Changes In The Context Of Insurance And Tax Obligations, As Well As The Planned Increase Of The Salaried Staff And Partners Support To Cope With The Obligations.
