Concrete Work – Extended Shell Construction Work. The New Ward Block Is Planned As An Angular Orthogonal Building With 5 Upper Floors (E0-E04) And Two Basement Floors (U01, U02). With Its North And West Wings, It Forms The Structural End Of The Clinic In The West. The U01 With The Intensive Care Unit, Designed As A Base, Slides Out Into The Green Space Under The West Wing. The New Building Is Connected To The Existing Building Structure In The North With Levels U02, U01 And The Entrance Level E0 To House E And In The South With Levels U03, U02, U01 And E0 To House F. Due To The Terrain Sloping Sharply To The South, The Resulting Inner Courtyard Remains Accessible From The Southwest Via Level U02. The New Building Is Essentially Planned As A Solid Construction And Is To Be Equipped - Horizontally Lined - Alternately As A Facing Facade And (On Site) With A Rear-Ventilated Fiberglass Concrete Facade. The Following Characteristics Can Be Assumed For The Planned Structure: - Floor Area: Approx. 7,100 M²; - Building Height Above Ground: Approx. 32.0 M (Severely Sloping Ground); - Gross Floor Area: Approx. 32,100 M²; - Exterior Wall Areas: Approx. 17,400 M²; - Roof And Ceiling Areas: Approx. 32,000 M²; - Number Of Floors: 11 (Level U3 To Level O7). In Addition To The Shell Construction Work, The Cladding Work And The Piping Work Underneath The Structure As Well As The Filling Of The Excavation Pit Must Also Be Carried Out In This Work. Expected Start Of Shell Construction: Around February 2027, Expected Completion Time Including All Subsequent Work (Such As Closing Shafts) By August 2028.
