Work Detail
The Chassart Site In Forest Will Be Transformed Into A “City Of Early Childhood”, That Is To Say A Specific Place Dedicated To The Cultural Awakening Of Early Childhood, In Connection With The Cultural Places Located Nearby. The Site Will Connect To The Future Avant-Senne Park, Avenue Van Volxem And The Saint-Antoine District. The Chassart Site, Located Along Avenue Van Volxem In Forest, Is A Witness To The Abundant Industrial Activity Of The District. Formerly Known As A Distillery Producing The “Chassart Vieille Cuvée” Genever, The Complex Now Accommodates A Series Of Offices, Multi-Purpose Spaces As Well As A Branch Of The One (= Office Of Birth And Childhood). It Is In This Context That Beliris Wishes To Develop The Chassart Site Into A “City Of Early Childhood”. Surrounded By Urban Barriers (The Railway On The One Hand, Avenue Van Volxem On The Other), The Chassart Site Is Located On The Outskirts Of The Saint-Antoine District And On The Route Of The Future Avant-Senne Park Which Will Run Alongside The Railway.
