For Various Sewer Construction Projects In Munichs Urban Drainage System, Geotechnical Investigations Must Be Carried Out To Assess The Relationships Between Construction Methods, Subsoil And Groundwater As Part Of The New Planning, Construction And Renovation Of Sewers Throughout The City And The Surrounding Northern Communities. As Part Of The Subsoil And Groundwater Exploration, Around 80 Ground Exploration Boreholes Have To Be Sunk, 140 Heavy Ramming Probes Have To Be Carried Out And Around 7 Groundwater Measuring Points Have To Be Established. The Boreholes Are Usually Between 5 M And 20 M Deep. In Exceptional Cases, The Depths Of The Drilling Points Are Approx. 40 M. As A Rule, The Drillings Are Carried Out On Public Land, Mostly In Traffic Areas. In Individual Cases, The Drillings Are Also Located On Private Property Or In Backyards.
