Tenders are invited for Launch of the SDLG Program to Train Municipal Leaders in Lebanon. the generous support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is pleased to announce the launch of a new series of specialized training courses for municipal leaders and local governance professionals, in partnership with Notre Dame University Louaize (NDU) and The Hague Academy for Local Governance. Held at the NDU campus, the program is designed to enhance the capacities of local actors and support more responsive, inclusive, and capable local governance that can meet the aspirations and challenges of Lebanons future. Programs offered: 1- Local economic development 2- Mechanisms of participatory governance in municipal work Each program consists of three on-campus courses and one field visit to a municipality or union of municipalities as a practical application of the concepts highlighted in the program. Program details: Who is the program aimed at: All those responsible for municipal work, including elected officials, employees, members of municipal committees, and those working in municipal affairs within civil society and non-governmental organizations. Program start date : June 16 Training days : June 16, June 18, June 23, June 27 Language of instruction : Arabic Teaching method : In person from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Notre Dame University - Louaize campus - Zouk Mosbeh.
