The Distic (Division Of Information And Communication Systems And Technologies) Hosts The Majority Of The University Of Genevas Services On Servers Hosted In Its Own Data Centers. These Servers Are Renewed Regularly To Follow Market Developments And Compatibility Between The Physical Hardware And The Different Os Used. A Certain Number Of This Equipment Has Reached The End Of Its Life And Must Be Replaced. This Project Is Part Of A Logic Of Managing Obsolescence And Responding To The Growing Needs Of The University In Terms Of Services. The Necessary Hardware Must Be From The Cisco Brand, In Order To Guarantee Its Integration With The Existing Infrastructure And Management Tools.
