Medical Equipments – Ultrasound Machine + Endoscopes + Surgical Workstation. Currently, Around 40 Endoscopes, The Devices From The Surgical Workstation And The Probes From The Ultrasound Device From Pentax Medical Are In Use. A Mixed Operation Of Endoscopes And Devices From Different Manufacturers Is Not Acceptable To The Hospital For Safety, Economic, Future-Oriented And Ergonomic Reasons. A Total Of Four Examination Rooms Are Planned In The New Building. A New Surgical Workstation Is Only Required In One Of These Rooms. A Surgical Workstation Includes The Following Components: Video Processor, Co2 Regulator And A Suction Pump. The Devices Mentioned Come From The Manufacturer Pentax Medical And Are Compatible With The New And Existing Endoscopes. If Endoscopes And A Surgical Workstation From Another Manufacturer Were Purchased, They Could Only Be Used In This One Room. It Would Not Be Possible To Use It In The Other New Examination Rooms Or In The Existing Ones Due To A Lack Of System Compatibility. There Is Therefore A High Risk Of Malfunctions And Compatibility Problems With Technology From Different Manufacturers And The Effort Required By Users To Adapt Cannot Be Absorbed When Using Different Manufacturers, But Leads To Considerable Risks For Patient Safety.
