Contract Notice: For the Selection of Consultants or Consultancy Firms for Consultancy Missions Relating to the Support of the Meah in the Creation of an Interministerial Sanitation Committee Detailed description: As part of the implementation of the National Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Policy (PNEAH) as well as the various framework documents for the sanitation sector, strengthening institutional coordination between the ministries and entities involved constitutes a strategic priority. The Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (MEAH), as leader in the sector, initiated the establishment of an Interministerial Sanitation Committee (CIA), intended to establish a formal framework for consultation, strategic management and integrated coordination of policies and interventions in the sector. To date, responsibilities for sanitation fall under several ministries and institutions, without a formal and lasting coordination mechanism. This situation leads to overlapping skills, legal loopholes and poor coherence in public interventions.
