This Rfp Is For The Construction Of The Town Of Okotoks’ Raw Water Reservoir, A Portion Of The Larger Foothills Okotoks Regional Water (Forw) Project. The Forw Project Will Provide The Town Of Okotoks With Raw Water For Potable Water Treatment. The Town Of Okotoks Is The Sole Owner For The Raw Water Reservoir Project. The Purpose Of The Work Is To Construct Approximately 300,000 M3 Of Raw Water Storage Open To Atmosphere. The Reservoir Includes A Synthetic Liner, Underdrain And Venting System, Geocomposite, Pump Station Intake Screen And Support Structure, Water Main Installation, Gravel Road Construction, Fencing, Landscaping, And Embankments Considered A Dam With A ‘Significant’ Consequence Classification Under The Alberta Dam And Canal Safety Directive (Alberta Environment And Parks, 2018)
