Work Detail
Architectural And Related Services - Structural Realization Competition With Open Space Planning Components New Administrative Location On Koogstrasse With A Listed Addition To The Historic Town Hall, City Of Brunsbüttel. The Administrative Locations Of The City Of Brunsbüttel Are Currently Spread Across Different Locations Throughout The City. This Makes It More Difficult For Citizens To Access The Citys Contact Persons And Complicates Internal Administrative Coordination And Processes. The City Is Therefore Aiming To Spatially Consolidate The Administrative Locations. The Dilapidated “Kaiserhof” Building Next To The Historic Town Hall On Koogstrasse Is Gone. A New Building Is To Be Built On This Property So That, Together With The Historic Town Hall, A Centralized Administrative Location Will Be Created In A Central Location. In Order For The Historic Brunsbüttel Town Hall To Continue To Fulfill Its Function As A Representative Building And Place Of Work For The Citys Administrative Staff In The Future, The Building Needs To Be Upgraded In Many Ways. The Existing Building Must Be Modernized In Accordance With Listed Building Standards In Terms Of Fire Protection And Energy Efficiency. In Order For All People To Have Access To The Town Hall As A Public Building And To Be Able To Move Around Within The Building Barrier-Free, Extensive Structural Changes Are Necessary. The Town Hall Extension From 1968 Is Also Not Barrier-Free And Is No Longer Up To Date In Terms Of Quality And Quantity. It Cannot Be Economically Brought To A Contemporary Quality Standard And Will Therefore Be Lost In The Future. The Extension Is To Be Replaced By Modern, High-Quality Administration Rooms. With The Competition, The City Of Brunsbüttel Aims To Obtain High-Quality Designs For A Modern, Contemporary And Citizen-Oriented Administrative Location That Integrates The Historic Town Hall, Which Characterizes The Cityscape, In A Monument-Friendly And Barrier-Free Manner.
