The “Le Nautilus” Leisure Center In Avranches Is Part Of The Community Strategy To Improve The After-School And Extra-Curricular Reception Offer In The Avranches Area And Its Surroundings. The Current Premises Of The Nautilus, Dilapidated And Unsuitable, Require A Complete Upgrade. The Building Currently Has No Space Dedicated To Children Under 6 Years Old, Nor A Statutory Infirmary, Nor A Real Reception Area For Families, Nor An Administrative Office. The Sanitary Facilities Are Insufficient And Not Suitable For Young Children, And Prm Accessibility Is Non-Existent On Part Of The Ground Floor And On The Upper Floors. The General Condition (Electricity, Insulation, Heating) No Longer Meets The Standards And Expected Comfort. A Major Renovation Is Therefore Essential In Order To Guarantee Satisfactory Reception Conditions For Users And Staff, In Accordance With Current Regulatory Requirements. The Nautilus Rehabilitation Project Thus Has A Dual Objective: To Increase The Capacity And Quality Of Leisure Reception In Avranches (In Complementarity With The Other “P’Tits Loups” Site For 3–5 Year Olds), And To Pool Extracurricular (School Time) And Extracurricular (Wednesdays And Holidays) Reception For The Children Of Avranches On The Same Site.
