Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Detailed Feasibility Studies and Costed Engineering Designs of Agricultural Transformation Agenda Support Program Phase Two (ATASP II) FEASIBILITY STUDIES FOR AGRICULTURAL TRANSFORMATION AGENDA SUPPORT PROGRAM PHASE TWO (ATASP II) The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Program Phase I in partnership with the State Governments and Private Investors in the five (5) participating States of Kaduna, Oyo, Cross River, Imo and Ogun and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for the conduct of feasibility studies for the implementation of Agricultural Transformation Agenda Support Program Phase Two (ATASP II) in priority agricultural corridors across the country. 2. The scope of services to be provided are: Preparation of site-specific feasibility reports that will guide the design of appropriate agricultural project interventions and will include agricultural - commodity value chains analysis, infrastructure assessment and evaluation, technical designs for farm access roads, drainages, irrigation canals, box culverts, bridges, water supply schemes and rural clinics and schools, social and environmental safeguards analysis. The successful consultancy firm (s) will be expected to engage with various stakeholders including farmers, public sector agencies, private sector as well as Civil Society Community Based Organizations More details on the scope are in the terms of reference which can be downloaded from the SAPZ website: www. The National Coordinating Office (NCO) of the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Program now invites eligible consultancy firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services including (a) Brochures Profile of Firm/Consortium including ownership structure and role of each Corporate entity with full contact details, (b) description of similar agriculture related consultancy assignments in the last 5 years including Project Preparation and Design, (c) experience in similar conditions in Nigeria and/or in sub Saharan Africa, (d) availability of appropriate skills among staff, some of whom should have good knowledge of the environment. All documents should be electronically transmitted in ONE FILE ONLY. Transmission involving multiple files will be rejected. PDF format is preferred.
