Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Hiv/Aids and Gender Sensitization Studies Date Added: May 21, 2026 Deadline: 18/06/2026 Category: Consultancy ABSIIDPs Objective is to contribute to socio-economic development, poverty reduction through improved road transport infrastructure to reduce road maintenance costs, vehicle operating cost and travel time. The specific objectives of the assignment include: (i) To undertake baseline studies and data collection on HIV & AIDS, STI, TB and Gender aspects (pre-project situational analysis); (ii) To develop a monitoring and evaluation instrument (i.e. indicators) for monitoring and evaluation on HIV/AIDS, STI, TB situation; (iii) Capacity building training to Peer Educators and Local Community Based Organization for project sustainability. (iv) To develop and implement the HIV & AIDS, STI and TB awareness and prevention programmes for construction workers, communities along the road project and truck drivers; and (v) To develop information, knowledge, and dissemination plan for future use in the project areas and other institutions in similar situations. The Abia State Ministry of Works now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the Services for Sensitization of HIV & AIDS, STI and TB Mitigation and Gender issues to the communities living along the road projects. Interested consultants must provide the following information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services: 1. Consultants registration certificate (brochures and company profile); 2. Description of similar assignments with evidence of award (letter of award and/or contract agreement) 3. Brief description of experience in similar conditions; 4. Availability of appropriate skills among staff; 5. Evidence of working in similar regional work experience in similar fields (within Nigeria and/or Sub-Saharan Africa); 6. Consultants may constitute joint ventures of not more than three parties to enhance their chances of qualification. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure based on Quality and Cost Based Selection [LCS] method shall be in accordance with the Islamic Development Banks Procurement Policy Framework, April 2019, which is available on IsDB website.
