Expression of Interest are invited for Pakistan Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Assessment and Benchmarking Description: The World Bank Group is supporting Pakistan in creating economic opportunities for startups through expanding access to entrepreneurial finance and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem. This approach draws on global experience and aims to mobilize private capital while improving the effectiveness of ecosystem institutions and support mechanisms. Under the ecosystem pillar, the project will begin with a benchmarking and diagnostic assessment of Pakistans entrepreneurship ecosystem, with a focus on existing support structures, including but not limited to - the National Incubation Centers. The study will draw on existing literature and capture recent developments, identify key gaps and constraints, and propose actionable recommendations. It will benchmark against international good practices and inform the design of targeted interventions to strengthen ecosystem institutions and support the development of investment-ready startups. The World Bank Group is seeking to contract a consulting firm to support undertaking the above-mentioned benchmarking and diagnostic assessment.
