Expression of Interest for Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) Organizations. Date Added: May 19, 2026 Deadline: 12/06/2026 Category: General Supplies & Services The sub-Saharan Africa Consortium for the Advancement of Innovative Research and Care in Sepsis (STAIRS), in collaboration with the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), invites Expressions of Interest from qualified organizations with capacity for Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) to participate in a multi-site research initiative. Project Title: Evaluating and Exploring the Burden of Sepsis and Sepsis Sequelae in the Community Setting Using a Mixed-Method Approach (RTI). This study aims to generate robust, community-level evidence on the burden, distribution, and long-term outcomes of sepsis through standardized longitudinal surveillance systems, with a primary emphasis on quantitative epidemiological data collection and analysis. Geographic Focus: Enugu State and Cross River State, Nigeria Eligibility Criteria: Interested organizations must demonstrate: An established HDSS or capacity for community longitudinal surveillance.
