Tenders are invited for ESA Vigil Mission Independent Software Verification and Validation (ISVV) This is an open competitive procurement under the European Space Agency (ESA) Space Safety Programme (S2P) for the Vigil Mission, a satellite project designed to provide operational space weather forecasting from the SunEarth Lagrange Point L5. The contract is issued through Airbus Defence and Space Limited as the prime contractor for the Vigil mission on behalf of the European Space Agency. The scope of this tender covers Independent Software Verification and Validation (ISVV) services for the Vigil mission software, including: Verification and validation of onboard flight software Independent review of software specifications and code Testing and quality assurance of flight-critical systems Ensuring compliance with ESA software engineering and safety standards Risk reduction and reliability assurance for mission-critical software The ISVV activity is intended to ensure software quality, operational safety, and mission reliability for spacecraft operating in deep space for space weather monitoring. The procurement is part of the ESA Vigil mission aimed at improving early warning systems for solar activity and space weather hazards affecting Earth.
