It comprises five sub-components: (i) Regional coordination and adoption of harmonized data quality standards; (ii) Production of demographic and socio-economic statistics; (iii) Production of statistics on the real and fiscal sectors; (iv) Production of statistics on agriculture and climate change; and (v) Curation of sectoral and sub-national administrative data. Component 2: Support for statistical modernization, institutional reforms, improved data access, dissemination, and utilization, and human resource development. This component contributes to the modernization of statistics through the use of new technologies, support for institutional reforms in the statistical field, improved dissemination of statistical data, and the strengthening of human capacities, with a view to meeting the ever-growing demand for data to ensure better monitoring of commitments. This component comprises five sub-components, namely: (i) Statistical modernization of National Statistical Systems (NSS); (ii) Institutional Reforms for selected National Statistical Systems (NSS); (iii) Human Capital Strengthening; (iv) Data Accessibility and Dissemination; and (i) Data Utilization and Analysis to Inform Public Policy.
