Central Finlands Vitality Center Procures Annual Mowing Treatment For Nine Traditional Biotope Sites Located In Different Parts Of Central Finland. For All Sites, At Least Mowing And Raking And Moving Of The Mowed Plant Matter Outside The Treated Area Will Be Procured. For Some Of The Sites, Clearing Of Small Trees And Bushes And Transportation Of Mowed Plant Matter Away From The Property Will Also Be Procured. The Site-Specific Procedures, Schedules And Special Considerations Can Be Seen In The Service Description Of Each Site. The Area To Be Treated Is 0.3 Ha For The Smallest Site And 1.2 Ha For The Largest. The Measures Are Mainly Scheduled For July–August 2026. It Is The Service Providers Responsibility To Choose The Tools Suitable For The Properties Of The Object And The Conditions At The Time Of Work. The Sites Are Uneven And Stony In Terms Of Terrain, And They Also Have Varying Amounts Of Trees And Bushes. Therefore, The Sites Are Not Suitable For Tractor Mowing. The Mowing Tool Can Be, For Example, A Clearing Saw Or A Small Mower. After Mowing, The Length Of The Bed May Not Exceed 20 Cm. The Use Of Vehicles To Move Mowed Plant Material, For Example, Is Allowed, But Depressions Larger Than Minor May Not Be Formed. The Bidder Must Familiarize Himself With The Site Before Making An Offer. However, The Procurement Contact Person Must Be Notified At Least Two Business Days In Advance Of A Possible On-Site Inspection Visit, Who, At His Discretion, Will Pass The Information On To The Landowner. Some Of The Sites Are Located Within The Landowners Home Peace. The Bidder Can Therefore Choose Which Sites To Bid On.
