On The Öbb Route Vienna - Salzburg (New Line) In The Area Between Tullnerfeld Station - St. Pölten Station, Massive Flooding And Damage Occurred In The Area Of The Atzenbrugger Tunnel During The Flood Event In September 2024. Technical Buildings And Emergency Exits With Technical Equipment In The Tunnel Were Flooded And Damaged. Öbb Infrastructure Ag Is Therefore Planning To Set Up Flood Protection Measures In The Area Of The Atzenbrugger Tunnel East Portal To Protect Technical Building 7, The Pumping Station And The Tracks From Flooding.
