The City Of Rossland Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Consulting Teams To Undertake Climate-Informed Stormwater Management Modelling And Planning That Will Support Long-Term Resilience, Capital Planning, And Policy Development. The Primary Objectives Of This Project Are To: • Update And Refine The City’S Stormwater Model Using Climate-Adjusted Intensity-Duration-Frequency (Idf) Curves, Improved Spatial Data, And Future Land-Use Scenarios; • Identify Vulnerabilities, System Constraints, And Priority Upgrades Under Current And Future Climate Conditions; • Integrate Natural Assets And Green Infrastructure Into Stormwater Management Analysis And Recommendations; • Develop A Comprehensive, Climate-Informed Stormwater Management Plan That Supports Capital Planning, Asset Management, And Policy Decision-Making; And • Build Internal Municipal Capacity To Apply Climate Data And Modelling Tools In Ongoing Infrastructure And Land-Use Planning.
