Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Li Moervaartvallei - Kalvekant: Technical Preliminary Study And Alternative Research For Water Storage And Related Infrastructure Within Established Nature Compensation Objectives. The Assignment Includes The Preparation Of A Technical Preliminary Study With Extensive Research Into Alternatives For The Design Of Water Storage And Associated Infrastructure In The Kalvekant-Zuid Project Area (And Partly Kalvekant-Noord), Taking Into Account The Intended Nature Compensation Goals. The Main Purpose Of The Preliminary Study Is To Technically Substantiate And Compare Design Alternatives, So That The Client, Together With Its Partners, Can Arrive At A Supported Preferred Alternative, As A Basis For Later Steps Towards Technical Design, Environmental Permit And Eia Project (These Are Not Part Of This Assignment). The Service Provider Is Responsible For An Integrated Study Assignment, Consisting Of Four Successive Phases: 1) Inventory And Study Of Available Information: Critical Collection, Analysis And Synthesis Of All Available Data From The Study Area. This Includes Refining Existing Knowledge, Active Coordination With Involved Parties, Updating The Hydraulic Reference Model And Proposing Design Alternatives. 2) Selection Of Design Alternatives Based On A Transparent Assessment Framework (Funneling) And The Provision Of A Research Program For Studies In Support Of The Preliminary Study. 3) Detailed Investigation And Consideration Of Reasonable Alternatives: Technical Refinement Of The Selected Alternatives Based On Information From (Field) Studies. The Alternatives Are Compared And Evaluated With Reasons To Arrive At A Preferred Alternative. 4) Finalizing The Preferred Alternative: Developing A Technically Substantiated Preliminary Study With The Recording Of Design Parameters, As Well As A Bundle Of Plans, Calculation Notes And A Detailed Cost Estimate (Implementation, Studies, Archaeology, Land Acquisition And Management). The Service Provider Is Expected To: - Act As An Active Project Coordinator, - Organize And Support The Entire Realization Process And Consultation (Steering Groups, The Daily Follow-Up Team, Working Groups, Information Moments), - Apply Quality Assurance To All Delivered Products, - Design Sustainably And Circularly, - Work Closely With The Client And The Authorities Involved. The Service Provider Provides, Among Other Things: - A Global Project Report (Growing Per Phase), - Technical Notes And Calculation Reports, - Hydraulic Model Files And Flood Maps, - Bundles Of Plans (Autocad And Gis), - A Detailed Cost Estimate, - Building Blocks For A Future Eia Project, - Input For The Earth-Moving File. All Documents Are Supplied Digitally In Accordance With The Imposed Technical Standards And In The Corporate Identity Of The Flemish Land Agency. Target Start Date Of Services: Autumn 2026
