Tenders are invited for Consultant for Reviewing MSIC Inclusive Language Guide for a 2nd Edition and Leading the Physical/Environmental and Communication Accessibility Assessment of Marie Stopes International Cambodia Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion in MSIC Diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of MSICs mission to deliver SRH services, including contraception and safe abortion to everyone, making sure that no one is left behind. We want all people to feel supported and welcomed when accessing a MSIC SRH facility. MSIC is committed to an intersectional approach to diversity and inclusion, understanding that different social categories impact on an individuals ability to realise their potential. In addition to recognising the impact an individuals gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity and religion may have on their ability to access SRH services, MSIC also acknowledges the importance of understanding a clients economic and social status. In order to provide inclusive services to everyone, MSIC is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive team who are aware and are sensitive to the needs of marginalized groups. Purpose As part of its commitment to inclusion, MSIC developed an inclusive language guide for inclusive communication in 2023. In making sure the languages/words used are up to date, it requires reviewing the previous edition for the second edition. MSIC strives to communicate with every group of people and every community with care and respect to ensure that were not offending or causing harm to any vulnerable group. Therefore, the language that we use in every piece of our communication, whether its internally or externally, must be inclusive. MSIC is looking for a consultant to review the first edition of Inclusive Language guide and finalize it as a second edition for MSIC staff and partners to use as a reference document for communication. This scope of work also includes participating in accessibility and disability audits as a representative of OPDs and people with disabilities, including individuals who use wheelchairs, crutches, or have visual impairments. A Consultant will work with MSIC Program Manager with the support from the Senior Management Team to deliver the assignment. Scope of work The Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Review of the first edition of inclusive language guide; 2. Engage and facilitate with key stakeholders, National stakeholders, NGO partners working in the context of diversity and inclusion or individual who have expertise on this context to gather insights and feedback for the update; 3. Incorporate feedback for the second edition of the guide; 4. Facilitate Physical/Environmental and Communication Accessibility Assessment for one of the MSIC centers 5. Walk through 8 MSIC centers and provide recommendation from an accessibility perspective. Produce report outlining the recommendations from the accessibility audit.
