The Purpose Of The Myllyjärvi Wetland Is To Serve As A Water Protection Structure For The Waters That Flow From Valkianjärvensu And Its Surrounding Area All The Way To Siltakylänlahti. The Wetland Enables The Deposition Of Solid Matter And The Binding Of Nutrients To The Vegetation, Without However Weakening The Basic Drainage Situation Of The Area. A Survey Of Acidic Sulfate Soils Has Been Carried Out In The Area, Which In Part Has Influenced The Planning. The Wetland Will Be Implemented In Two Phases, The First Of Which Will Be Implemented In January-April 2026. The Size Of The Second Phase Of The Wetland Being Implemented Now Is Approximately 4.7 Ha, Of Which Approximately 2.1 Ha Is The Water Area To Be Implemented By Digging And Approximately 2.6 Ha Is The Spreading Area.
