This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By The College Of Pharmacists Of British Columbia (Cpbc) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For The Provision Of Website Redesign Services, As Further Described In The Rfp Particulars (Appendix A) (The “Deliverables”). Cpbc Has A Mandate To Protect The Public By Licensing And Regulating Pharmacists And Pharmacy Technicians And The Pharmacies Where They Practice. Cpbc Is Committed To Being An Inclusive And Collaborative Regulator, Dedicated To Regulating Pharmacies And Pharmacy Professionals In Support Of Public Safety, Optimal Health, And Culturally-Safe, Equitable Care – Free From Indigenous-Specific And Other Forms Of Racism. Cpbc Is Responsible For Making Sure Every Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, And Pharmacies In Bc Are Fully Qualified And Able To Provide The Public With Safe And Ethical Pharmacy Care. Cpbc’S Work Is Focused On Regulating Pharmacies And Pharmacy Professionals In The Public Interest Andnoton Advocacy For Pharmacy Professionals Or Pharmacy Owners. This Project Aims To Redesign The Cpbc Website. The Current Website Serves As The Primary Communication Channel With Pharmacy Professionals (Licensees) And The Public. Feedback From Internal Staff And Past Pharmacy Professional Surveys Suggests That Users Struggle With Certain Aspects Of The Website. Given Cpbc’S Role In Protecting Public Safety Through The Regulation Of Pharmacies And Pharmacy Professionals, An Effective Website Is Essential To Ensure Pharmacy Professionals Can Easily Access Regulatory Information, And The Public Can Find Information About Pharmacy Care. This Project Will Redesign The Website That Aligns With Cpbcs Evolving Needs And Better Serves Both Pharmacy Professionals And The Public. Note: Cpbc Has Already Undertaken A Comprehensive “Discovery” Process To Assess The Current Website And Identify Key Areas For Improvement. Cpbc Intends To Procure A Vendor To Deliver A Future-Proof Website Redesign That Hasa Scalable, Standards-Based Architecture And Governance Model, And Must Align With Cpbc’S Current And Evolving Organizational, Regulatory, Digital, And Communications Strategies.
