The Fraser Valley Regional District (Fvrd) Is Requesting Quotations From Qualified Environmental Consultants With Demonstrated Experience In Aquatic And Wetland Projects, Species At Risk Assessments, And Environmental Monitoring To Provide Environmental Assessment, Mitigation Recommendations, And Onsite Environmental Monitoring Services (The Services) For The Proposed Replacement Of The Regional Park Located At Floating Boardwalk At Cheam Lake Wetlands 53480 Elgey Rd, Rosedale, Bc V0x 1X1 . The Boardwalk Is Located At 49.196069, 121.752717 . The Fvrd Is Proposing To Replace Two Existing Floating Boardwalk Segments At Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park. The Works Involve Replacement Of Segments 2 And 3 Of The Existing Floating Walkway (See Schedule S B And C ), Totalling Approximately 66 Metres In Length, In The Same Location And General Footprint As The Current Structure. The Replacement Sections Will Connect To The Existing Land Floating Based Ramp Infrastructure At Either End. Instream Works Will Be Limited To Removal Of The Existing Floating Boardwalk And Installation Of The Replacement Floating Sections. Construction Access Will Use The Existing Trail From The Parking Lot, And Staging, Storage, And Deliveries Will Be Confined To Disturbed Upland Areas Within The Park.
