The State Office For Information Security (Lsi) Supports Authorities In Bavaria With The App Security Check Service. The Lsi Provides Safety Assessments Of Common Smartphone Apps. These Ratings Are Intended To Provide Decision-Makers With Guidance When Releasing And Using Apps For Work Devices. In Addition To The Basic Offering Of An App Catalog (Which Only Uses Automated Procedures), The Lsi Will Offer Expert Reviews For Apps. These Tests Are Commissioned Individually As Required And Carried Out By Qualified Experts. Both Manual And Automated Methods Are Used. The Contractor Will Carry Out Individual Expert Reviews Of Individual Apps. A Qualified Expert From The Contractor Examines The Respective App Using Automated And Manual Procedures And Creates A Detailed Report. The Lsi Intends To Conclude A Framework Agreement With A Company That Will Carry Out These Expert Tests According To The Lsis Specifications. The Term Of The Framework Agreement Is 24 Months (Basic Contract Term). Unless The Contractual Agreement Is Terminated By The Client No Later Than Three (3) Months Before The End Of The Basic Contract Term (Or Subsequently The Respective Overall Term Of The Contractual Agreement), The Term Is Automatically Extended For A Period Of 12 Months. The Term Can Be Extended A Maximum Of Three Times. The Maximum Term Of The Contractual Agreement Is Therefore A Total Of 5 (Five) Years (60 Months).
