Tenders Are Invited For Reconstruction And Equipment Of The Historic Kitchen In Grodno Castle

1. The Subject Of The Order Is Conservation And Restoration Work In The Former Castle Kitchen, Along With The Arrangement Of The Historical Exhibition. The Scope Of Work Will Include Renovation Of The Kitchen Area. Most Of The Walls Are Covered With Textured Limestone Plaster, The So-Called Lamb. In Some Places, Earlier Plasters, Brick Additions And Stone Yews Are Visible. The Floor Is Lined With Stones With Sand Filling. The Renovation Of The Room Will Involve Restoring Its Original Medieval Character As Much As Possible. The Facility Is A Monument And All Works Must Be Carried Out In Accordance With The Conservation Decision No. 428/2026 Of March 24, 2026 And The Architectural And Construction Design. The Scope Of Work Includes: - Cleaning, Strengthening And Partial Replacement Of Bricks, - Cleaning And Supplementing Joints And Stone Elements, - Reconstruction Of The Stone Portal, - Removal Of Secondary Plasters And Implementation Of New Plasters, - Conservation And Protection Metal Elements, - Arrangement Of The Historical Exhibition Of The Former Castle Kitchen, - All Works Must Preserve The Historical Character Of The Facility, - Works And Conservation Works Must Be Supervised By Persons With Appropriate Authorizations Required For Monuments, - Stratigraphic Tests Are Required Before Removing Plaster - For Which The Contractor Must Obtain A Separate Conservation Decision, - Architectural Research May Be Carried Out During Implementation, - Material, Color And Technological Solutions Must Be Consistent With The Documentation And Conservation Arrangements.
