Mass Sequencing Service (Ngs) In Charge Of Project Pi25/00882, Destined For The Prostate Cancer Translational Research Group Of The Vall Hebron University Hospital Foundation (Vhir)..The Object Of This Tender Procedure Is The Contracting Of The Massive Sequencing Service (Ngs) Of Dna Libraries, Intended For The Prostate Cancer Translational Research Group Of The Fundació Hospital Universitari Vall Hebron - Research Institute (Vhir), In Charge Of The Project Pi25/00882 Entitled “Liquid Biopsy Biomarkers To Guide Adaptive Modulation Of Treatment In Metastatic Prostate Cancer”, Funded By The Carlos Iii Health Institute (Isciii) And Co-Financed By The European Union. The Project Includes Evaluating Longitudinal Samples From Approximately 500 Patients With Prostate Cancer, And Various Pdx (Patient Derived Xenograft) Models. The Evaluation Will Be Mostly, But Not Exclusively, Via Liquid Biopsy And Two Techniques Will Be Used, Whole Genome Sequencing At Low Depth (Lpwgs) And Sequencing Of A Panel Of Genes Of Interest At High Depth (Targeted-Panel). Massive Sequencing Requires A Type Of Infrastructure Not Available In The Facilities Themselves, So An External Provider Must Be Hired. For Longitudinal Studies, Where Samples From The Same Patient Are Monitored Over Time, It Is Essential To Minimize Technical Variability. For This And For Operational Reasons, We Consider That The Contract Cannot Be Divided Into Batches, Requiring A Single Supplier. As Detailed Below, The Provision Of The Services Will Consist Of The Quality Control Of The Libraries (Or Pools Of Libraries) Prepared In Our Laboratory. Sequencing And Data Delivery. The Service Does Not Include Bioinformatics Analysis. Library Pools Refers To The Mixture Of Multiple Libraries In A Single Tube That Are Separated Bioinformatically After Sequencing In The Process Known As Demultiplexing. In The Rest Of This Document, Library Will Refer Interchangeably To Single Libraries Or Pools Of Libraries.
