Railway Construction Works – Renewal Of Eü Route 4880 Km 44,790 In Alpirsbach. The Railway Overpass (Eü) Over The Kinzig Will Be Replaced By A New Composite Building. The Structure Is Located At Kilometer 44,790 On The Single-Track, Non-Electrified Route 4880 Eutingen In The Area Of The Municipality Of Alpirsbach. The Existing Superstructure Is Designed As A Riveted Steel Truss Bridge In The Form Of A Parallel Truss With An Overhead Carriageway Structure And Is Designed As A Continuous Girder Over Three Fields. The Existing Structure Must Be Completely Dismantled During This Closure Period (August 27, 2027 To October 24, 2027). The New Superstructure Is Built To The Side Of The Existing Route And Then Pushed Into Its Final Position. Once The Work Has Been Completed, The Route Must Be Made Operational Again. The New Eü Is Being Built With A Composite Superstructure With Two Bays And Spans Of 38.40 M Each. The Substructures Are Made Of Reinforced Concrete And Consist Of Two Abutments And A Central Pillar.
