The Invitation To Participate In The Request For Information Is Not A Procurement Announcement Or A Request For Tender, And It Does Not Oblige The Welfare Regions Of Pirkanmaa And South Ostrobothnia To Purchase. The Information Presented In The Information Request Has Been Provided As A Preliminary And Non-Binding Information Request. The Purpose Of The Information Request Is To Survey Market Participants Views On Coaching Services According To The Disability Services Act And Interest In Producing The Coaching Services Presented In More Detail In This Information Request For The Welfare Areas Of Pirkanmaa And South Ostrobothnia. Coaching Is A Special Service According To The Disability Services Act (675/2023). A Person With A Disability According To § 2 Of The Disability Services Act Can Receive Coaching According To Section 7 Of The Disability Services Act, If He Necessarily Needs The Coaching Service: - To Learn New Or Strengthen Existing Skills Needed For Independent Living. - To Act In A Life Changing Situation Or To Prepare For Such A Situation. - In Addition, The Condition Is That It Is Not Possible To Get Similar Coaching As Medical Rehabilitation. Coaching Is Always A Fixed-Term And Goal-Oriented Service. Coaching Can Only Meet A Need That Is Not Permanent Or Long-Term. The Welfare Regions Of Pirkanmaa And South Ostrobothnia Are Preparing A Joint Procurement Of Training Services In Accordance With The Disability Services Act.
