SNGPL is planning to supply LPG Air mix also known as Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) to the consumers of Chitral Town where natural gas is not available. In order to supply SNG, LPG will be mixed with air in specific ratio in an LPG Air mix plant to produce SNG. The SNG will have combustion properties equivalent to natural gas. SNGPL has already procured SNG equipment along with LPG storage tanks, firefighting systems etc. The equipment has been stored at SNGPL Manga Stores in unused condition.
