The City Of Sonthofen Is Planning To Build A New Elementary School On Berghofer Straße. In The Future, The School Will Be Designed For 16 Classes Plus One Flex Class With A Total Of Around 342 Students. A Full-Day Concept Is Planned In The Form Of “Cooperative Full-Day” Care. As Part Of Performance Phase 0, Inspections, Analyzes And Assessments Of The Primary School And After-School Building Were Carried Out. In Addition, Workshops Took Place With The School And After-School Families. In The Course Of The Detailed Further Examination, The Missing Requirements Were Identified And Adjusted. The Economic Feasibility Study Shows That A New Building Is Necessary Due To Structural And Functional Deficits. As Part Of The Competition, A New Building Design Is Sought That Architecturally Depicts The School As A Solitary Building And Coherently Implements Contemporary Learning Spaces According To Rosan Boschs Pedagogical Approach. The Competition Prize Totals €195,000 Net. Of This, Eur 50,000 Net Will Be Paid As A Processing Fee Of Eur 5,000 Each To All Participants Who Submit Their Competition Entry On Time And In Accordance With The Formal Requirements. The Fee For Contributions Submitted Late Will Not Be Paid Out But Will Be Added To The Prize Money. If Competition Participants Who Have Been Awarded Prizes Or Recognition Pay Vat, This Will Be Reimbursed To Them On A Pro-Rata Basis.
