Quotation are invited for Durban ICC World Trade Centre Joinery, Signage and Feature Wall Installations (Interior Fit-out) SCOPE OF WORK This scope of work must be read in conjunction with all relevant drawings, schedules, and design documentation, which will be made available after the compulsory site briefing/inspection. In the event of any ambiguity, bidders are required to seek clarification prior to submission. The scope includes the full manufacture, supply, and installation of all joinery, signage, and feature wall elements. Joinery Works o Reception desk o Kitchenette o Booth seating o Server unit o Built-in cupboards (BIC) o Decorative/feature walls (including tree wall) Signage and Vinyl o Internal room signage (offices, meeting rooms, boardroom) o Fire and wayfinding signage o Door vinyl applications o Shopfront vinyl applications o Reception signage General Requirements Contractor to: o Provide samples/mock-ups for approval o Coordinate with other trades o Ensure protection of completed works o Work within an operational environment Measurements and Verification All dimensions indicated on drawings are to be treated as indicative. Figured dimensions shall take precedence over scaled dimensions. The appointed service provider is required to verify all measurements on site prior to fabrication, ordering of materials, and pricing submission. Coordination and Design Integrity Contractor must: o Notify the designer of any discrepancies or required deviations o Ensure installations align with design intent All works must: o Maintain structural integrity o Meet required quality standards JO:01 Reception Desk Manufacture and install reception desk strictly in accordance with drawing FD7003. Include all finishes, substrates, edging, fixings, and integration with services. Highquality finish required. Item 1 JO:02 Kitchenette Manufacture and install kitchenette as per FD7002, including cupboards, worktops, and internal fittings. Ensure moisture-resistant materials where required. Item 1 JO:03 Booth Seating Manufacture and install booth seating as per FD7004. Ensure structural stability, comfort, and durability. JO:04 Server Unit Manufacture and install server unit as per FD7000, including ventilation provisions and access panels. SG:01 Reception Sign Manufacture and install reception signage as per FD5003. Includes cut-out lettering with LED back illumination, mounted on brushed gold plate with concealed fixings. Item 1 SG:02 Meeting Room 1 Supply and install wall-mounted signage (300mm x 450mm) with brushed gold plate, cut-out lettering, and LED backlighting, complete with side plates to conceal fixings.
