Tenders are invited for Media Platforms. Background: The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung (RLS) is a non-profit organization that works internationally to promote progressive political education and social research. RLS supports critical thinking about society and builds solidarity-based, equality-driven networks that advance social justice, democracy, and empowerment. RLS has been working in Lebanon since 2017. The Beirut Office runs projects in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq, in close cooperation with local partners, groups, and individuals. The office also follows and studies political and social developments in Iran. One of our core tasks is to support the development and dissemination of alternative knowledge, research and information, with the aim of expanding access to diverse perspectives in the region. This contributes to pluralism of opinion and enables people to form their own views and act as informed, autonomous citizens. In this context, RLS Beirut is seeking to collaborate with four media platforms that can regularly provide a range of knowledge outputs, including articles, essays, research, and analyses in different formats, with the possibility of publishing them on the RLS website and/or social media channel. The cooperation is planned to run until the end of 2026, with a total grant of EUR 10,000. 2. Objectives To analyze and/or document the historical context and current political dynamics in West Asia. To inform audiences in West Asia about ongoing and past developments, while also providing insights to German and/or international audiences. To promote a plurality of perspectives within and on the region. To foster critical thinking and informed public debate. 3. Deliverables Provision of knowledge outputs, including articles, essays, explanatory videos, podcasts, research, and analytical pieces, for publication in all formats. 4. Eligibility & Requirements Proven experience in communication and production of one or more: articles, policy papers, research papers, podcast, videos, documentaries) Strong knowledge in Lebanon, and/or Iraq, and/or Iran, and/or Syrian. Strong commitment to deadlines and agreements. Alignment with the values of RLS, including commitment to social justice, equity, and anti-discrimination. How to apply 5. Proposal Submission Guidelines Interested individuals, initiatives, or organizations must submit a proposal of no more than five pages (excluding CVs), including: An outline and/or proposal of the cooperation. A budget. CVs or organizational profiles demonstrating relevant experience. 6. Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be evaluated according to RLS regulations and based on the following criteria: Experience and relevant background (25%) Local expertise and contextual understanding (35%) Availability or/and frequency (25%) Budget (15%) 7.
